Bear & Coyote

Meet our Bears!

Generously funded by Bear River Band of the Rohnerville Rancheria, the Bear and Coyote habitat opened in summer 2023 and is part of the ambitious Native Predators expansion at Sequoia Park Zoo. This state-of-the-art habitat introduces visitors to some of the largest animals in the region, provides a home and care for non-releasable animals, and creates educational opportunities to learn about living with wildlife.

The Bear and Coyote habitat is currently home to American black bears, Noni and Tule.
